Site Support:

This site is managed by the North Texas Royal Rangers on behalf of and is the exclusively authorized history site of the national Royal Rangers ministries office, Springfield, MO. Contacts for this site include Mark Oliver and Jonathan Trower.
Since July 2012, this site has been the official national Royal Rangers office effort to capture and provide history of Royal Rangers for future generations of Royal Rangers. As those who started the Royal Rangers ministry age, we want to capture their knowledge and artifacts now, before they are lost forever.
History can be mailed to Jonathan Trower / Mark Oliver, PO Box 614, Hewitt, TX 76643 or emailed to history@ntxrr.org.

2022 Supporter Patch

In July 2012, the Royal Rangers History website made its debut. It is hard to believe its over a decade old. Over the years the site has continued to grow and the number of visitors benefitting from the site continues to grow. As of now, there have been over 564,000 visits to the RR history site, and that number continues to grow daily.

If you are not aware of the site, it has a vast amount of information about the history of Royal Rangers. Even though the patch pages are the most popular, it also contains other items like event documents, staff listings, calendars, photos, FCF information, national camp attendees, totems, and much more. If it is Royal Rangers related, we will post the information somewhere on the site.

We encourage you to take some time and go thru the many pages on the site. Here are just some of the statistics.

As of 01/01/2023,

  • Total Storage - 637 GB
  • Total Files - 676,590
  • Total Folders - 19,359
  • Total Images - 317,001
  • Total Hyperlinks - 395,719
  • Total Pages - 3,853

Since the beginning, the site has been paid for by those who support the development and hosting of the site. The domain name itself is owned and paid for by the national Royal Rangers office (www.royalrangershistory.org), but the web hosting and online storage fees are privately funded.

For 2022, we are starting a patch called a supporter patch. This is different than the contributor patch that collectors can earn every year by donating historical content to the site. That patch will still exist. This new supporter patch will be sent to those who help support the site costs financially. For $25, your funds will go to help pay for the storage, domain hosting, software, and soon an SSL certificate. We understand we will not be able to cover all costs, but we are making the patch available to those who would like to help. Like the contributor patches, those that are not used in 2022 will be destroyed.

If you are interested, you can use PayPal to send $25 to mark_oliver_rrh@fastmail.com, and it will be applied accordingly (US Shipping included, INTL please contact us first). Don’t worry, even without support, the site will not go away. We are giving those with an interest in this site a way of supporting the rising costs of running it. Number of patches are limited, and no additional ones will be created.
